I mentioned this last post but, it’s free! When I recommended this to someone I had to check as I assumed it would cost but apparently not. I would actually pay money for this, it’s basically the note app but it backs up online. That online backup feature is enough for me to pay around £0.99 for this App. Having said that there is a subscription service, £5.49 for twelve months but that isn’t really worth it.
The App itself is very useful but the subscription features are pointless. £5.49 is a bit too much considering it’s not a one off payment. Pretty much, if I do really well at poker one night I’ll likely buy this on a whim basically just to remove the adverts but barring that; the free App is good enough.

The online website. All your notes are synced up in the cloud but that’s not all, by using their website you can edit your notes from any computer that’s hooked up to the net. Their website is basically just an online version of the App but it has a nice feature which really sells it to me. When I stop typing, it automatically saves the work up to that point. That is why I use SimpleNote to write these posts. When Firefox crashes on me and I lose everything I’ve written on Tumblr, you guys don’t get a post. I hate writing things twice and this small thing just helps to prevent losing your writing. Just remember to pause and let it save after every paragraph.
I use this for all my notes now and I make a lot of notes in my day to day life, so you can trust that I’ve tried quite a few apps. My room is full of bits of paper, half filled note books and recipts with things scribbled all over them. A couple thousand trees will be saved by this service.
