SimpleNote

So a couple posts ago I talked about how Simplenote closing down could really fuck with me. I stated about how I use it a lot but I didn’t say at all why I liked it. I kinda read that post and its like: “Well… OK, fine 66Seven these websites are important to you but why do I care? These are just random things I’ve not heard off! Why are they great? Should >I< use them? That’s what I, the collective audience of this here site, care about.”

Well fine, here we go. Why I like Simplenote and why I recommend you spend stupid amounts of money on an iPod Touch just so you can then get this free App.

SimpleNote. The name says it all, it’s a very Simple Note App; having all the features of the default Note App which comes with the iPhone/iPod Touch from the onset there’s nothing new. A white background and the ability to sync/backup your notes to an online website is the only features which separate it from that. Oh and a couple adverts. Not even those really annoying adverts which disrupt the App itself either. The white background isn’t too big a deal but what is: your notes now sync with an online website. I no longer need to e-mail myself notes, and changing them on a browser or in the App itself; it’s all synced up.
