A British View.First off, I’m actually quite surprised I got a reply. But yeah; It seems they remade the ending after the cut I saw, I guess they updated the ending so it wasn’t completely unbelievable.
It’s entirely likely that the updated version was scarier than the one I saw, apparently Steven Spielberg helped point out where some changes needed to be made, so it’s questionable. I do, however, doubt they could have changed the writing enough for it to work to the standards and the hype it’s been played up as. Still, if I had knew about the change I may not have sent the e-mail, I may’ve. Really I’ll need to see the final cut.
It was nice getting a reply, though, not everyone on the ‘net does that. And I didn’t know that they changed the ending so I guess I wasn’t fully informed. Hmm.
