Internet Creativity
I’m taking this weekend a little easy, you may notice. I’ve had an incredibly busy week and although managed to update every single day I didn’t leave myself any buffer for the weekend, was burning the candle at both ends and managed to find myself sleeping in most of Saturday. On note of that I’m having a light weekend and getting myself together again to ensure updates...

– - Jamie Burgoyne Just a small thing, this weekend’s posts are going to be Pokémon themed. FYI.

The BAFTAs are fast approaching
Not too fast, though. It’s under a month, sure, but that’s more than enough time to watch everything, make my picks and (as of this year) place my bets. Usually the BAFTAs are generally something people either watch with families, watch with a passion or don’t watch at all. I like films but I don’t watch the BAFTAs. I’m going to change that this year. I know most...

Lazy Day
So I’ve just finished typing up my iPad post, it’s a bit buzzing. Today I’m taking a day off because you got two posts yesterday. So, food for thought: No TV subscription services, only AT&T networking, gotta wait an extra month for 3G, no background applications, international 3G plans and prices to be announced still. Although: The Kindle is dead, sorry. Also, is there...

iPad
So, Apple’s newest product has been announced and it’s slightly surprising. First off, it’s called the iPad; maybe one of the few names I hadn’t heard suggested or rumoured. To be honest it’s got me hyped up. It’s got e-book capabilities, their own book store, HD video, gaming, e-mail; it’s pretty much what everyone wants it to be. “Using this...

Apple
So the Apple Tablet is going to be announced today, as far as everyone can tell. There’s maybe a 2% chance that Apple will just surprise everyone and just say that they’ve been fucking with us the whole time. But ignoring that, most people are fairly sure it’s the tablet. A mixture of different information leaks, official announcements and just blatant speculation has got most...

I need to read more
I’m sure most of you don’t care. As Bill Hicks joked: “Well, it looks like we got ourselves a reader.” No, but seriously I’m really not. I mean I hardly ever read and although when I was a bit younger I did a lot, I sorta’ just stopped. I mean I still CAN read, I’m subscribed to various RSS feeds for news, comics and celebrity gossip. I’m rereading...

Mad Man #2
A follow on from: http://www.66seven.co.uk/post/347251252 There’s something about the show Mad Men, it’s nice and slow. I mean everything happens, just not all at once. With all the drinking, smoking and wit, the characters seem to find a comfortable mix of talking and work. Not too much yet just enough to satisfy you; it’s the pace of the show which really sells it so me. ...

Wii Fit
The Wii Fit is a fairly obvious game, it seems, this balance board is chucked full of sensors and the game helps you work out your BMI. It then makes the slightly unbelievable claim that it helps actually lose weight, but does it? The game itself was first released in 2007 in Japan, but didn’t reach Europe till April 25th 2008. It’s currently the second highest selling game of all...

Mad Man.
Is Mad Men any good? From what I know, mostly, it’s about an advertising agency in the 1960’s and is apparently written well. It’s been on since 2007 and when I first heard about it my initial plan was to simply wait until it either becomes a huge show or was cancelled. It seems that England mostly didn’t care for the show, there was no major advertising campaign, most...

Coffee Benefits #3
(If you don’t know what this post is about, please be sure to read: http://www.66seven.co.uk/post/338002915 first.) It’s hot I don’t know if you know this but typically coffee is considered best as a hot beverage. That, my friends, is a good thing! Although it does mean if you forget about your cuppa’ Joe for too long then you’re left with a cold and depressingly...

January 9th Update
To break up the week a little from all this coffee mania, just a quick update on my January 9th resolutions today. It’s always good to have a little self reflection in your life, and well if you haven’t already, make some resolutions. Shape your own year. http://www.66seven.co.uk/post/325671383 So in self reference to that. 1. I’ve not really manage to cut my spending by...

Coffee Benefits #2
(If you don’t know what this post is about, please be sure to read: http://www.66seven.co.uk/post/338002915 first.) “brb, need to pee” Yeah, coffee you bastard! I drink a lot of water, seriously I’m probably the only person I know who regularly exceeds his recommended 8 glasses a day. This mostly comes from the fact I’m allergic to the squash drinks children are...

Cadbury you fool!
Just a quick post now before the real one at 11am. Hm. Cadbury recently accepted an offer by Kraft, basically they just sold their soul to the devil for 12 Billion British Sterling. This is cost effective and will increase profits for everyone involved. But English chocolate has just been fucked over. Seriously, all the values and ethics which makes Cadbury’s so great: GONE. Gone for 12Bn....

Interesting Coffee Facts
(If you don’t know what this post is about, please be sure to read: http://www.66seven.co.uk/post/338002915 first.) Interesting? To break up just stuff relating to me, this is more about general coffee facts which are amazing, an experiment I want to try and a slight warning of my future. First off, I 100% recommend that you read everything on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coffee ...

Coffee Benefits #1
(If you don’t know what this post is about, please be sure to read: http://www.66seven.co.uk/post/338002915 first.) To Keep Me Busy Something about my behavioural patterns I don’t understand but, simply put, I work better when I’m eating or drinking. Having something to do in between paragraphs, while I’m thinking what to write or just when I’m trying to find the...

Meet my friend Joe.
I love coffee, actually I’m a bit obsessed. If someone told me I had the chance to have a deep, meaningful relationship with Scarlett Johansson which lasted at least two months and involved a minimum of three sexual relations but the conditions involved never having coffee again: I’d choose Ms.Johansson, because I’m not insane. But that doesn’t take from the coffee...

Sherlock Holmes is cooler than Dr. John H. Watson.
The second film I’ve seen where Robert Downey Jr. attempts* to make a silencer for his gun; Sherlock Holmes was quite enjoyable. Just a quick post, but the film was cool, my friend who saw it with me complained that he thought it would include more action. My issue wasn’t that, the action was there it just seemed a little TOO choreographed. I liked the whole...

January the Ninth. Resolutions.
I think I’m gunna make some “January the 9th Resolutions.” Fuck new years resolutions, that’s overrated; the ninth is where it’s at. It’s a Saturday and I’m watching YouTube; I can’t make videos so I gotta’ use written word. People were talking a lot about resolutions the last week or so (I would guess around nine days ago specifically) and...
